I love looking at the Mariana and Chamilia jewelry online on the Ward's website. I found something I liked that they didn't have in stock, they ordered it, and I was wearing it within a week.

Just moved to the area, and found this wonderful treasure!

Rick was able to re-do my Mom's wedding set into earrings for me, and a beautiful necklace for my daughter! What a great way to share family jewelry~and it had just been sitting in a drawer for 5 years! I'm so pleased! Thanks!

They used new Laser technology to fix my Mother's vintage jewelry, without harming it. The are very nice people & treat you right. Not expensive, either.

I thought I could get a better deal on a diamond engagement ring in a big city, but Ward's Jewelry gave me a better price than any chain store. Very nice to deal with. Thanks!
*****  Does not stand behind products sold

on Getzow Jewelers
I had a terrible experience at Getzow Jewelers. My fiance bought my engagement ring there a little over a year ago. Since then I have had to take it back on three separate occasions to have it repaired (2 times for a missing stone, which they replaced with a much lesser quality stone and the owner admitted this to me and 1 time because a stone was so loose and about to fall out). Yesterday I went back in for my 4th time because of another missing stone. All 4 times, I was told that it was real gold, what did I expect. The owner was so rude and condescending! First he told me that I should "jiggle" all the diamonds in my ring everyday to make sure they are not loose and bring the ring in every 1-2 months for them to check it. He told me it was not his responsibility to stand behind the jewelry he sells and that he is not going to fix it. He called my sister and I a name and told me to go to a different jeweler. He walked away from the two of us yelling "Leave my store now!" It is a month before my wedding and I now have the additional stress of getting my ring fixed before my wedding day. My fiance and I chose Getzow's to purchase this ring because it was a small shop and with the current economy, we thought we would patronize the small business owners instead of the larger corporations. Wow were we wrong!!

Jewelry Store Information

Jewelry stores often stock several basic items. Common jewelry pieces include watches, necklaces, rings, and earrings. These are the types of jewelry that most people purchase for special occasions such as birthdays, engagements, Valentines Day, and Christmas. Jewelers can answer most of you questions and help you pick a special bracelet, pendant, or diamond jewelry gift for your significant someone.

Jewelry prices can often be negotiated since the markup can be as high as 400%. For years gold, silver, platinum, and diamonds have always commanded a large price, but with a little negotiation, you can get a remarkable bargain from a jewelry store at a substantial savings off the sticker price.
